Two

After the underwhelming response to my radio show, I thought I'd call it a day but Trevor Wilkes got in touch from Bleep Radio and asked if I would do a show for his website. So I did it and he's hosting it for me through his website.

The format is more or less the same as the first one, just me playing records from my youth and talking a little bit in between.
If you like it, please leave a comment to encourage me to carry on.

Trevor has also been kind enough to create a nice Flash player for me.
So you can either download the MP3 and listen later, or stream online with the Flash player.

Here's the second show:

And here's the Flash player:

  1. one of the first things to remember about blogging is that, by and large, its a thankless task and most readers will completely take you for granted, so don't be discouraged by lack of comments, that's just the way things work usually. looking fwd to part 2. i'll have a listen tonight. nice graphix!

  2. You never cease to amaze with your music knowledge and stories that go with each track... Very entertaining and enlightening.

Keep the good tunes coming and bring them down to australia at some point soon!

Also, really this comment is worth three times the power of one because 3 people are listening to it - me, George and our flatmate jeremy.

  33. Only got as far as half way through #2 but I am in heaven, HEAVEN! :)
Wish I'd seen these earlier so you could've had the encouragement you wanted back in Oct 08 when you started this. Your story is similar to mine, my brother's & many others I'm sure who will want to share this memory of a hugely exciting time for hiphop, rap & all dance music. Simpler times back then, eh?
Keep it going... I'll catch up soon enough! :)
