Here's volume three of the podcast. Many thanks to everyone who sent comments, emails, or came up to me personally at gigs to say they like the podcast, and thanks again to Trevor for hosting. This'll be the final "83-92" selection and I'll play some slightly newer stuff next time.

Not only do you play some great tunes. Loved the Depeche Mode one. No matter hoe corny that is. I love the horn thing!
ReplyDeleteAlso, you are a very funny guy, and remind me strangely of John Peel.

ReplyDeleteGood stuff! Also my 5 months old enjoys your radio shows!
ReplyDeleteAutomatic is suuuuuuuch a tune! I was born in the late 80s and didnt hear that track until I bought Grand Theft Auto Vice City, which has it on the soundtrack. As soon as it flowed through my ear canals it became an all time classic in my musical world...Word up! A~Also Another track i really liked from the first episode was 19...U know the one with the Vietnam speech samples. Maaan that is such an awesome record! cant believe how tight the edits and samples are for such an early electronic work.
ReplyDeleteHey Ed, just discovered the PodCast, great stuff! You should never have to apologize for liking something you think might be seen as uncool! Axel F is great, even if it does sound corny now. Working my way through #4, now...
