mate, your LIVE comic acid is PURE sex.. love it!
ReplyDeleteA new vocal track! YES! So good.
ReplyDeleteAnd the Fresh Up tracks are fresh indeed.
ReplyDeleteNice remix of I <3 acid and good stuff on the Fresh Up label !
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, thanks for a new piece, your later podcasts were absolutely terrific, probably the best of all times (for me) was 17, so many favorite songs, a few absolutely amazing new discoveries, 18 and 19 were also fantastic, hope this one will kick ass!
ReplyDeleteSo looking forward to come to your forthcoming party in Moscow, your concert in 16 tons last year was TER-RI-FIC!
Are you going to play live set too this time or a DJ-set? If it's gonna be live (and I really hope so) please-please-please, include some gems from your "Kiss Goodbye" album - Who's That Guy, Kiss Goodbye or HOT, we'll go apeshit!
The Game is so sad, i nearly cried.. i hope it has a happy ending! here's to everyone feeling it, being it, & expressng it! i loved it, tho.
ReplyDeletexxx
"the game"! hell yeah, daz what im talkin bout!! so great to hear a new vocal track. would love to hear more in the future, but i believe you said it wasnt gonna happen :-(
ReplyDeleteGreat show!
ReplyDeletePS. Is that somebody hoovering in the background when you're talking? :)
"your LIVE comic acid is....." Comic Acid, i like it :)
ReplyDelete"Moscow" - i'll be playing live but not much vocal stuff, newer dancey stuff. Really to do vocal stuff properly I need to take singing lessons and start a band. I don't want to do karaoke :)
"Is that somebody hoovering in the background when you're talking?"
no it's the bloody fan on my MacBook, so noisy!
Probably the must humble self promotion you could get, as well as a great mix. Wish I could make the party, but theres that whole 'ocean' business.

ReplyDeleteyou said that #1 is 'almost sold out' is there a 'fresh up' label page or are they just being sold by distributors?
ReplyDelete(hope it's not too long before the 3rd comes out so can get all three from somewhere (postage costs!))
that next dmx krew on breakin sounds really really good
Fantastic mix, as usual. Loved all the unreleased stuff, it made me feel well special.
ReplyDeleteWhat I would really love is a *mixtape* made from all the lovely songs that you used as samples to make that remix of I Love Acid. Just sayin' like.
COMIC Acid: well, you make me laugh!
ReplyDeleteAND
Mr Bradley Stryder: you're great! i think you're a freak like me!! if i didn't know better, i'd say YOU were ed's no. 1 fan..

ReplyDeleteThank you for all the good tunes, Ed. I was going through some really bad times recently and your podcast pulled me back to reality. I was finally able to find out about your show and all the cool tracks on Rephlex through Ceephax's website about a month ago. Anyway, please don't stop what you're doing. It really is great to learn and enjoy everything about your music and the cool oldschool tracks you play. Once I get a little spare money I promise to buy as much of your music as I can. I not only want to help a good musician, but I just really dig your work. Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteok, bradley..
ReplyDeletei have never been to hartlepool, and don't even know where it is.. don't trust ed. his geography is wore than mine!
i lived in notting hill for a bit with my friend brian of the music & video exchange fame, but these days do not frequent that area much except to pass through outside congestion charging hours..
i have no intention on telling you exactly where i live, you ARE a freaky fan.. but if you're in cornwall. then i'm not a million miles away.
truth is, brad.. i don't think you're ready for this jelly! (but i still think you're great!)

ReplyDeleteEd, dude, ever thought about putting flattr-Buttons next to your podcasts? I'd definitely be donating smth coz i want this series to continue.
ReplyDeleteaaaah, little drummer boy,
ReplyDeleteof course i trust you.. you're so sweet i want to cover you in strawberry jam and have you for my tea!
in fact, you've got SO many things right about me, it's scary.. are you sure i don't know you?
even my dad is the III (honest).
but is it really appropriate to hold this discussion on ed's comments page? maybe you should ask your LORD, you seem to know him so well.

ReplyDeleteBel189trax would be a good one to drive around the lakes to but i can't drive! Dad can .
ReplyDeleteEd, your music is great - whatever style you go for it's really full & "complete" sounding - you can tell the TLC that's gone into it.
ReplyDeleteI reckon you should do a compilation/greatest hits CD :)
Hey, thank you for the mix, and for all the other as well. We listen to these pretty often at the workshop.
